What makes you truly happy?
I need to always feel as though I’m learning and growing – that’s when I’m truly happy.
Favourite food?
Mmm…that’s a tough one. Currently, I really enjoy Mexican food. It adds spice to my life!
Favourite quote?
“Change your thoughts and you change your world”. Norman Vincent Peale
Favourite read?
Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Dr Joe Dispenza. I love this book because it opened my mind on the why and how to design my life in new and creative ways. A life changing book.
How do you keep your mind, body and soul inspired?
Two years ago I met an Indian Swami and he encouraged me to wake up each morning to feed my mind, body and soul by following his particular routine. I was up for the challenge because he was 82 and didn’t look a day older than 60. From that moment on, I have woken up at 4am. I do a session of neuro biofeedback, which enhances my brain and mind. I then meditate for 20 minute (great for the soul) and finally I exercise for 20-40 minutes. It might sound crazy waking up at 4am in the morning but those couple of hours to myself has really improved my wellbeing.
What is your favourite room in your house and why?
I have a sitting room beside my bedroom that I love because it’s cozy and relaxing. My 8 year old daughter refers to it as ‘mummy’s quite space’. She was so inspired by the idea that she has created a similar space in her bedroom where she ‘chills out’, especially when she needs to turn ‘grey cloud’ thoughts into ‘blue cloud’ ones.
Do you have a favourite travel destination/s and why?
I don’t really have a favourite destination. We have a family saying that life is measured in moments. It’s the moments we create when we travel that are special to us rather than where we are. We have managed to create a lot of those moments when we ski in Aspin during the Christmas holidays so we are going back for a third time this year.
Do you have any advice for our readers who are seeking helpful tips on how they can live a colourful and happy life?
Your mindset can be your asset or your nemesis. The way you think creates your reality, your reality creates your life; Your mind matters, use it wisely.

Her coaching style is based on practical experience; she has established, led and successfully sold several hospitality businesses. Guided by the vision that the Ultimate Coffee Experience starts from the inside out, Gianna has been dedicated to growing the Di Bella team’s talent ensuring the customer remains the lifeblood of the business.
Since selling the business in early 2015, she has been working with business owners and leaders to unlock their potential by shifting their mindset towards more resourceful patterns of thinking and behaviour using the latest research in neuroscience and neuroleadership. She applies her expertise and skills, utilising prism brain mapping in areas of recruitment and selection, 360 degree feedback, team coaching, career planning and development and leadership coaching.
Gianna believes that our mindset is our greatest asset. “We can change our jobs, we can change our houses, we can even dramatically change the way we look, but the one thing that stays with us our whole lives is our minds. Yet few people make the effort to really understand how they think and their natural behavioural tendencies”. Gianna uses Prism Brain Mapping as a foundation to peel away the layers and get an insight into imprinted patterns of behaviour with the view to enhancing individual and business performance.
Prism brain mapping is the world’s most comprehensive online neuroscience based behaviourial profiling system. It provides three distinct ‘maps’ of a person’s behaviour: how they naturally prefer to behave; the extent to which they are modifying their behaviour given their current situation and work environment, and the overall pattern of behaviour they use most of the time. It leads to great insights into how people are underutilising or over compensating their behaviour and how much energy this is costing them and the businesses they work for. From this basis Gianna works with individuals and businesses to rewire behaviours with a view to developing more useful habits that better serve individuals and organisations. She receives enormous fulfilment in seeing individuals and businesses shift, develop and grow into their greatest possibility.
