How often do we have an incredible story to share, but the thought of public speaking in front of an audience can feel intimidating and scary?
We are born with our own unique expression, a passageway to communicate the sacred essence of who we are within our world. Our voices ring true our deepest desires to share, connect and be of service to humanity. I invite you to think about your gifts, talents and contribution. Think about how your words can help heal and transform your audience lives in a meaningful manner. Visualise your audience thanking you for sharing your message, presentation and voice. When we have a public speaking purpose, passion and direction, we feel more inspired, aligned and connected with our message. Being of service and using your talent to share your knowledge and wisdom is a true act of self-expression. In order for us to truly connect with our audience we have to understand who we are. Think about what makes you the person you are and how your audience can see themselves in your story and message. So often public speakers lose their own expression in watering down their own unique communication methods by imitating speakers who they both admire and are inspired by. In order for you to find your own public speaking superpower, you have to believe in yourself, understand your audience and know that you are enough. We often lose our public speaking confidence when we think and obsess about how others will perceive us. Take a moment and think about your voice as a beautiful instrument, helping your audience to take positive steps forward in their lives.
I hope my public speaking pearls of wisdom inspire you to release your own voice superpower. Please share your thoughts and comments below; I would love to hear from you.
