MEET DESMORE SAMIOS

Desmore Samios is a recognised communicator that inspires, motivates and influences positive outcomes through her emotive storytelling skills and ability connect with the hearts and minds of people.

Desmore is a Certified Communications Professional, Award Winning Radio Host (NEMBC Radio Award) and founder of Desmore Media Communications. Having graduated with a Diploma Of Communications and Marketing in Australia. Her passion has always been to inspire people globally through the power of human-centred communication and emotive storytelling. Desmore was selected as the Communications and Brand Ambassador for TAFE Queensland during her studies.

Having held previous roles as a Producer, Newsreader, and award-winning Radio host, as well as writing her own T.V show Her Untold Story, which was aired, on community TV. Desmore has also hosted The Desmore Chats With Podcast.

After the birth of her son Desmore created and launched her own online Magazine called Mothers Get Inspired inspiring mothers to feel good about themselves. The online magazine had proved to be a success attracting and inspiring readers from across the world.

Desmore understands how to engage her audience through incorporating both her broadcasting background and her natural ability to speak to the hearts and minds of people. With her friendly, approachable, easy to talk to and vibrant personality, Desmore has become a much-loved presenter, speaker, and communication specialist, sharing her light and warmth both onstage and in person.

Desmore interned on the B105 Breakfast show Labby, Stav & Abby, and has worked as a Producer, Newsreader and Host for the 4EB radio station. Desmore worked on The Women’s Profile radio show on 4EB 98.1 fm, which took out the prestigious and coveted 2013 NEMBC Multicultural Ethnic Women’s Program of the year media award. The award was a great Women’s Profile Team collaborative effort.

Desmore has also created a TV show about women in different roles, and the idea was picked up by a local Brisbane community TV network Briz 31. The show was called” Her Untold Story” and aired in 2014. The show, which fittingly had an all-female cast, crew and production team, focused on the untold stories of multicultural women in Brisbane. The television initiative made for women and made only by women was the first of its kind.

Desmore has interviewed a varied number of remarkable guests, including coffee entrepreneur Phillip Di Bella, shoe legend Tracey Mathers, entertainment success Bonnie Lythgoe, and fashion editor of U on Sunday magazine Liz Golding. Moving on, Desmore saw much potential for broadcast technology in the near future and started her own meaningful podcast show. The Desmore Chats With Podcast was a quick success.
