Hi I’m Robyn,
I’m the founder of Consult Me Group. And here’s part of my story….
Cast your mind back 20 years or so… I was working 70+ hours per week in a corporate role as Brand Manager for one of the biggest companies in New Zealand. A great job, yes, but I wanted more. I wanted to take control of my time, the type of work I did and get some balance back. I also wanted to be responsible for my results completely – good, bad or otherwise. So I resigned and started my first consultancy business – The Marketing Division Ltd.
My biggest fear when I started my business was sales. I am a Marketer not a Salesperson and I had never sold anything other than donuts before (which to be honest was more like serving than selling). I never thought I’d have staff. However 3 months into the new business I employed my first staff member. By 6 months I had 3 full time staff, and so it kept growing…
Fast-forward to today > > > I now live in Brisbane, Australia and am Director of MarketSmartly Pty Ltd. MarketSmartly is a smarter version of The Marketing Division. This business grew from little old me starting from zero in November 2010 right before the Brisbane floods, to 23 team members in less than 18 months. As the name suggests, in this business we do things smartly both for our clients and ourselves… more about this later.
I am a high performance NLP practitioner and am fascinated in what makes people successful (or not), and how the brain works. I ran a high performance mentoring business for several years until, I had my first child and realised I couldn’t do justice to both businesses and my family, so I choose to put ‘Choose the ‘Tude’ on ice.
I started Consult Me Group after considering franchising MarketSmartly and deciding we could help more people by educating and licensing. This business is my passion… I get to use my high performance mentoring skills to help fellow marketers achieve their desired goals and I’m still involved in the fast-paced, ever evolving world of marketing.

I love travelling, music (I used to play the saxophone and sing), spending time exploring new things and places with my family and of course… business.
